I generally use Winamp to rip cds and Sound Forge or Audacity to convert 
wav 
files that I record. I use
128 kbs for the web mostly but 320 for personal listening. I do have 
questions about VBR and CBR encoding. What are ya'lls thought on VBR max 
and 
min settings? Or benifits of VBR vrs CBR encoding.
I can hear the difference between 320 kbs and 128 kbs. 320 sounds meatier 
maybe? My ears have been abused for many years so I am no audiophile at 
any 
rate.
