I think I paid £199 for my DL4 around 7 or 8 years ago. I thought that was 
pretty expensive, but I have used it a lot and I think I have got my 
money's 
worth out of it. I would be reluctant to pay that much for one now though, 
let alone £250. The ones being made now are apparently pretty unreliable. 
I 
think they are made of plastic now (not sure about that) so surely they 
should be cheaper. At least mine is still working well and still getting 
lots of use.

Good lord,  I never knew that.   I've always wondered why so few Brits
use them.  That must be the
reason.

On this side of the pond, it was the very cheapest one on the market for
a long time until the
advent of the RC-2.   I think the Akai Headrush is more expensive here
in the states too.

Is the Line 6 DL4 more expensive in Europe as well?

How about Japan?
