Seriously, I  am still a newbie and if you can give an example of repeater time stretching that would be great.

I'd guess not, because none of the recent time stretching algorithms
does. The won't invest in a new algorithm just for a looper plug-in.
Eh... I take it you're talking about the sound of the Repeater
algorithm here? That quirky lo-fi gnarling with the greatest feel to
it.
