MIDI Pipe is an excellent freeware for OS X that does MIDI patching
PRE software. I tried it out in order to create a bunch virtual MIDI
Ports and that worked fine. In MIDI Pipe you can filter the physically
incoming MIDI and direct it to specific virtual MIDI ports. Then it is
a breeze in Mainstage to fetch data from only certain chose inputs.
