Re: Virtual Sound and Vision festival update
Steve [Moyes] just pointed this out as well in response to my promo from last night, I said 17:00 UTC was 12noon EST and it's 1pm EST, whoops, man do I hate UTC but 'we're not in Kansas anymore toto'. I'll revise my various announcements.

There is a spiffy UTC event clock and a link to a local time conversion app there. These times are in UTC (universal coordinated time)
