I'd like to hear about the company's plans on a future model that
focuses on controlling external electronics and that doesn't come with
all the on-board sound banks and built-in audio engine. Some of the
reps mentioned this briefly in a video but without going into details.

Background:
I'm not comfy with the idea of buying an electronic/mechanic
instrument where you pay a lot of money for its ability to play
on-board sounds, that you might not even like. And if you want a
bigger sound palette it is the same company that provides the
expansion libraries. This marketing concept sort of contradicts
everything that is cool and creative to me with modularity,
open-source, community... and music.
