Hi Luis, It sounds like this is probably not a good solution for your pedals. If a pedal requires 500ma and you only give it 300... you are under powering it and might even damage the power supply. The reverse is usually true though.. in that if a power supply is capable of giving say 1000ma and you only need 300.. you're fine. In that case the pedal will only draw 300. On the volts side.. sometimes you can get away with things like this in the short term and occasionally you might even find something "desirable" about it (think: lo-fi) but it's probably not good for either piece of gear. For example, I know some analog pedal makers like the sound of dying 9volt batteries in their fuzz pedals (meaning... the batteries are probably giving out less than 9 volts). And.. I know some analog compressor pedals tend to have more headroom if run off a 12volt supply instead of a 9 volt. But.. with the amperage you need to supply the minimum the gear is looking for (or more). It looks like the Lucy is capable of combining two 300ma outputs into a single 600ma output. So.. that should help your scenario, but then it might not have enough outputs for everything. Hope that helps! Tom On Mar 30, 2010, at 11:26 AM, Louie Angulo wrote: Hi gang, |
