OT but important: warning about updating RME HDSP firmware

This is a warning concerning users of RME's HDSPe hardware (the computer 
interface cards for PCIe and Expresscard) slots.

When recently updating my PCIe card with their firmware update (dated 
9.2.2010), the card ceased to function properly.
I did contact RME's support about this issue and awaiting an answer.

Still, just a word of caution: If you have something that can be updated 
with that firmware update (that specific software is for HDSPe MADI, 
HDSPe PCI, HDSPe ExpressCard, RayDAT, AES, MADIface and AIO), I would 
recommend waiting with the update...loosing your main audio interface is 
no fun.
