Nice work Todd, lovely tone and technique,  nice to see someone using  
a soft step. what is your mic? I have been borrowing a DPA4099G to use  
on my weissenborn and acoustic guitar, but to really get the most out  
of it  I will need to move to in-ear monitors  and a soft step. The  
DPA mic is amazing and they make them for both string and brass  
instruments, its a miniature shot gun mic that has great feedback  
rejection and much better ambient noise rejection than typical  
miniature condensor mics.
