Re: Adobe Audition anyone?
Just do this with each individual track. A bit of a pain but doable.
Otherwise, figure out where Audition stores all of it's
raw data. There has to be a file where everything is stored.
These files may be numbered instead of titled but generally
speaking opening one up will reveal it's contents.
I got around this problem by always saving everything to it's own
folder, and renaming tracks
to Artist-Song-Instument name-iteration.
So that...
DM-TBT-Prophecy-(patch name)-(FX Chain)
equals "David Messenger-Truth Be True-Prophecy-in the
drain-(C)ompression-(R)everb-(D)elay"
which shows as...
DM-TBT-Prophecy-ITD-C-R-D
...in the file name.
SO the whole song rests in a folder named DM-TBT, and all the tracks in
that folder are identifiable. and idiosyncratic-through the entire
effects chain-you have a non-destuctive path back to the original file
as you are saving the track each time you make a change, and your undo's
are native to your production process.. It also allows you to use a
different drive for storage so that if you C drive goes down all your
stuff is on another drive, and easily can be backed up-copied to another
drive for redundancy.
Hope that helps.
