Clicks are not as big of a problem with the DD20, pretty forgiving really. I made a footswitch with a very light momentary for tapping loop length and can get it down to almost a buzz :) This is one of my favorite things about the DD20, the ability to retap the length of a running loop. Also you can change the actual note value of the taps.

That's how I first used to do multiply, on the old Lex JamMan in delay mode.
Getting the taps accurate wasn't so much of a problem as the high probability
of clicks in the loop. (?not a problem in the DD20?)
It also worked in a different way all of it's own. After the first tap
the sound would continue in a single "cycle" with working feedback,
creating a real 'loops within loops' vibe.
