"Handmade Electronic Music", by Nick Collins.
More good advice from the Rigster.
There's a second edition "expanded" version of the book that came out in 2009 and even includes a DVD. Next on my list to get as soon as I'm able to...

Also, Collins has some great electronic music that he has released thru the years. Seek them out....

You will find dozens of easy projects that are well explained. You will be able to have several "electronic music" devices to display.

My advice would be not to do your project on something you're really in the dark about - Your proposal may not make sense. Better to stick to something you know something about initially that you can then expand. The album idea gives you scope to do excellent work that is well researched.
Good luck

Subject: I really need some advice for Senior Project
From:
k3zz21@gmail.comTo:
Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.comI have to turn in my highschool senior project proposal tomorrow if I want to be approved to work on it over summer which I do. It is a given that I want it to be about electronic music. But I dont know how to expand on that idea. It has
to take at least 15 hours of working on it. I was thinking about doing reasearch on different styles of electronic music and composing an album consisting of 3-4 different styles that I researched. That would definitely take 15 hours. But I also was considering researching electronic music performance. As it is quite a mysterious subject that I really struggle understanding to this day. And for the final product I would put on a performance myself. Your feedback is far more appreciated than you can imagine as this is really last minute.
