Re: Looking to purchase used Mac for software development

I think a friend of mine is selling a 2009 Mac book pro -- all cleaned out and loaded with logic and some other solid programs

In my experience, spending a little extra on a system with applecare pays for itself.  I bought a used MB Pro for more than I wanted, but the mobo, dvd drive, power button, and something else all broke and were covered by Apple for FREEEE! :)

Does anyone have a Mac (mini or otherwise) that they would like to part with for $300 or less? It's only job is to be a development machine, so the ability to use the latest os/xcode trumps performance. I'm going to start looking on ebay/etc, but thought I would check here first. :)
