I'd love to see a software emulation. I never had one, so I can't contribute, but hopefully someone else can.

Watched the Nels Cline vid and liked what I saw... so I thought, well, this is a pretty cool device.  Maybe I'll buy one!
Then I looked in Ebay.  Then I scoured the internet. 
Rare as hen's teeth!!!!

I did find one for $1,600.
