There was a drum used in the 70s iirc that was a floor tom with a tube
attached to the air vent, it allowed the drummer to control pitch with air
pressure.  I remember a conversation on RMMP where someone talked about 
some
sort of communication aids that use pads in the mouth, the tongue triggers
them. I suppose you could do both if you really wanted to.

I wouldn't fancy singing :)
