BTW, since alternate controllers and weird effect boxes both come up
as a regular topic on the list, here's a pointer to a new piece of
gear that's a little of both:
This is essentially a motion sensor shaped somewhat like a ring.
It's designed to go on the finger of a guitarist's picking hand, and
the position of the sensor can control the filter/wah. It's produced
by Source Audio -- a company spun off from Analog Devices -- and uses
components developed in collaboration with them.
They've got a booth at NAMM (Hall 'E' #1126, for all you lucky
b*stards that are gonna be there ;) and projected release is early
2006. MSRP is $299.
