Ground Control with Echoplex

-- Forgive me if this has been discussed before...
Anyone have any experience controlling the Echoplex with the Ground
Control? Does the GC completely replace the Echoplex's footswitch?
I have version 2.4 of the GC. Thanks in advance for the help.
