OK, I had a thought last night as I was perusing my new Marlin P. Jones 
and Associates catalog 
that a got 'cause somebody mentioned them on the list.  The MPJA catalog 
listed an 
multi-channel remote transmitter/reciever kit.  So.  How about a WIRELESS 
EDP footswitch?  You 
wouldn't have the plumbing problems of extra cable and you could still use 
a normally 
configured EDP.
