just wanted to report back from the live music front - caught Bill Frissell
(with Greg Leisz on all manner of slide geetar and David Piltch on standup
bass) last night here in Santa Monica - a fine show, but with nary a hint 
of
actual looping. if any of you also caught it and would hazard a guess as 
to the
identity of the two mystery boxes (one a delay/ preset multi-effector,
wedge-shaped with a blue metal frame, the other perhaps a half-space sized
pre-amp with a foam "cloak")  he had up off the floor, please respond 
privately
('cause neither of 'em looped, but damn it sure sounded good!)...
