David, your serial number wasn't only in the software.  It's in your documentation, in the box, somewhere.  And if you had registered with Sonic Foundry, they'd have a record that you're the owner of that serial number.  You'd be able to call them and they'd give it to you.  Other than Sonic Foundry, who else did you give the serial number to?

Listen, I'm really desperate. My computer had a virus and I had to reload everything and I lost my serial number for ACID. now, I'm trying to find people who might have the program in hopes that I can find the serial #. Can you help, or do you know someone who can?
