Luckily, no. But I was involved in a situation where the dancers preferred us playing live musical accompaniment (even with our mistakes!!!) over recorded music. I did attend performances which consisted entirely of the composer slipping a tape into a player and pressing "Play" and we all just sat there and listened to the playback. I didn't get it at all until I realized it was a tape of music for multiple-channel sound (that is, more than the two for stereo). Paolo
