If you want to try some thing. Grab your Boss CS-3 compressor.

and turn the voltage down to 7.5 volts. It works well on bass,

on guitar it could be a mistake, i dont know.

Also I'm from the land of 240 volts, which might alter things slightly.

Try which voltage works for you and everyone will be happy. O.K.
