I gave the D2 a quick whirl at a Guitar Center.  
There's way more under the covers than I had time (or inclination) to get
into.  
What was on the surface wasn't wild or crazy stuff.
So I was a little disappointed.

I'm know a real weekend of investigation would yield much more valid
opinions.
