It's got a steep learning curve if you don't have any computer programming background, but phase vocoding is just the tip of the iceberg of what it does. If the original poster wants, I could write up a Csound orc/sco pair with a batch file that would make processing the file [almost] as easy as typing: "pv bird". Cheers, Jon Southwood
