Re: Footpedals (was Rampant Elitism)

(guitarists, bassists, horn players, ???) tend to also want simplicity
(read: non-time-imposing implementation). So first off... most guitarists
od
on midi specs and programming minutae and don't really know they NEED a
fully implemented pedal. Which leads the majority of them to less than
fully
featured pedals... leading the manufacturers to believe that there's not a
big enough market for a fully implemented pedal. Sales of these pedals
probably bear this out and voila! We get what we as for (as a mass
demographic).

you are absolutely right Mike and the simplest things are the hardest to
come by.I
still find it strange that something so essential as note on /off is not
impemented on many FCīs. Almost all effects proccessors to my experience
have tap delays,or a bypass function which must be triggered by this
comand. Then again most of them try to sell you its respective crapy FC!

I hate to sound pessimistic but i donīt think we have a chance with this
one. The Ground Control by Digital Music Corp.? Perhaps if we insist!
