With the sampler module, you can configure it as a "Sampler" or as a "delay/looper". But it can't do both things at once on the same bit of audio. So you miss all sorts of interesting applications combining the two approaches. For example, using the looping mode of the sampler module to create a variety of interesting looping grooves on the fly which you then edit and trigger from a sequencer with the sampler mode functions of the module. even Scott pointed this out as an architectural limit they have that he wished they could change. kim
