Critters buggin

i just caught critters buggin (from seattle)
at the mercury in austin.
awsome band. 
instrumental free jazz/space/freak-out-jams
their saxophonist uses a boomerang (i think) and 
many effectoid weirdnesses to create and mangle 
live loops and they use sample loops as well. 
all members are virtuoso musicians.
they took my head right off.
a definite must see.
i give them three thumbs up.
