RE: Looping Drummers/tabla anyone?

I have a tabla set but do not play them very well (I'm a guitar player). I
do better on the dumbek and congas.

hmmm... Im not in any way a technical wizard but for recording my
drumkit/percussion I usually wear my headphones to avoid picking up my
monitors at all... I am guessing the same goes for your looping of the
congas... I dont usually loop too many drums live since I am using a lot
of
other nonpercussive sound makers and then layering drums on top of that. I
do
however often run percussion through a delay unit for the sound layering.

you should try in ear monitoring and this may solve some problems for
now...

going further into the drumming thing... are there any tabla players on
this

list?

peace,
K.
