i've seen a lot of people taping shows with 
two little clip-on omnes clipped to their glasses
(one on each side)  this is supposed to sound
something like the head that sennheiser made
with mikes in the ears.

i haven't tried it myself, but i bet it sounds best
when played back through headphones...
