I use the ART Multiverb III with it's 2 second sampler, and 99 effects 
(ok, 
it's really ole skool, I have had the thing for 10 years now, and I still 
use it from time to time).
It has midi, and the sampler works well with an external controller.
This thing came out before the Lexicon Jam Man.

but can he add some of those values

what I never saw is a fx that can set a delay time or lfo cycle to x *
1/16,1/8,1/4,1/2,1 etc...

the calculator is still required
