electrix repeater for looping live ... ?

please help me :

i want to loop live with the electrix repeater - there are 3 switches on the digitech fs300 footswitch - is that enough controll for live-looping ? or is there a better

footswitch to use ? or should i get an echoplex with its bigger footswitch ?
