I have everything in 4-space SKB racks that stack nicely.
There are a lot of advantages to this scheme... I can 
mix and match and only take what I need to a gig, 
I can roll it around my rather small apartment.

Of course, the needs of someone living in Manhattan 
are rather different than most.  Space becomes a
main issue!
