They're very quiet and have pan & 2 f/x sends on 12 of the channels BUT the knobs are small and hard to read so they're best as 'set and forget' mixers and not 'hands on' though I've used them both ways. They have a cool little sliding tray that lets you rack mount them beside another half racker like an SE-70 or VF-1.
