Coryell had a rock bank in the '60s called the Free Spirits. A couple of years ago I was in a car rental place at Newark Airport and a couple guys came in with carts loaded with guitars, and noticing that I was wearing a Rhino Records T-shirt one of them struck up a conversation. He turned out to be Larry Coryell, and the other guy was his son Julian. I mentioned that I owned a copy of the Free Spirits album, Coryell's jaw dropped, and he said "I don't even have a copy of that!" I ended up making him a CD. -- ______________________________________________________________ Richard Zvonar, PhD (818) 788-2202 http://www.zvonar.com http://RZCybernetics.com http://www.cybmotion.com/aliaszone http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/directory.cgi?autostart=rz
