try it!

Somewhere I have a list which came with
a cheap sampler toy called a Yak backwards.
(cheap mic/speaker/sampler with reverse and speed control, v.lofi) 
Lots of phrases that were either audio-palindromic
or came out as a different intelligible phrase.
(though most of them seemed not to work without
a lot of imagination)
