I hadn't played "Index" for quite a while and when listening to it this afternoon, while working on the Ping update, found it much less nasty and dark than I had remembered. I think my ears are constantly opening. I'm still not sure I'm ready for the Merzbow concert coming to Toronto in Sept. though. Perhaps serious earplugs may help my enlightenment...
