I waited 9 months for my rickenbacker 5-string bass to arrive- does this count? at the time, I was carrying all the melodies on my 4001 in a band with two rhythm guitarists, sort of a one-man chris squire tribute. now I have a fender VI, and I did try a stick once in argent's shop.....
