i think we need to make the discernment between the blonde oberheim units,
blonde gibson units, and the new black gibsons.

i had a problem with the oberheim but my blonde gibsons work fine.

i think the only differences on the new edp+ is the presence of loop4, 
round
buttons, and black panel.
