sometimes i do something similar with a
tc-electronic g-major: it has a seamless-function, so a delay or reverb
will not be cut off when you change to another sound. i take a delay with
feedback 100%, and send a sound to it with a volume pedal (slowly!!). when
i change to another sound, the delay wants to ring out, but it can't (100%
feedback!). now i can play on the other sound program and have a extra loop
running. it's not good for rhythmic stuff, because timing isn't so good
when syncroniced to a looper, but for athmospheric sounds it works quite well.
the sound you send should have a long decay (flute, keybord, compressed or
distortet strings).
to stop it i found out two ways (with a feedback
pedal): switch back to the delay with feedback pedal off, and sound will be cut,
or switch back with feedback pedal half way down, and sound will ring
out.
i hope, you understand my english!
have a nice time and good loops,
andi paulo
