The last club gig I played we made $40 and the woman I had help me on
drummachine/airsynth kept all the money (I asked her for my half but she 
seemed
to ignore that request).  Thursday I'm doing a benefit.  I feel like I 
spend
$30,000 a year on looping... more if I charged my day rate to all the 
practice
and setup time.  Good thing it's mostly fun!
