I *think* I had the mt44.  At least I'm sure it was an mt model.  I was 
very happy with, I found it sounded better than Tascams or Fostex's. It 
had 
5 or 7-band graphic-eq which helped a lot, 2 different speeds, and no 
wall- 
wart!
