Loopers search probs

Title: Loopers search probs

Trying to do some searches and when I type a word (example "Boomerang") I get back tons of records. But if I then check off the RESTRICT MATCHED FILES setting and select some months, I get "Found 0 matches in 0 files. "

Any thoughts why this would be happening?
