Nice set of directions, Rick! Since rhythm is pitch made slow, and since I
give instruction to a lot of aspiring musicians (including myself!) I
encourage all musicians to use a metronome just as they would use a tuner,
and to control rhythm just as they would control pitch. Your "pro-active
challenge" approach is excellent!
