Thanks for your assessment; you've quite likely saved me some money(!). I
play  wind synth & many different flutes in a solo ambient setting, and 
from
what you've told me, I'd probably do best with a second JamMan. I might try
a Repeater sometime, though, pitch-shifting would be a handy FX to have.
