In the choice between an RC-20 and a Boomerang, I'd go with the RC-20.
It has many of the same functions and is considerably less expensive.
My thought is if you are going to spend $500 on a Boomerang, save some
more money and get the EDP.  Otherwise pick up the RC-20.  Also, check
out the Line 6 DL-4.  Depending on what you want to do it may work
better for you than the RC-20.
