Probably not the answer you're looking for, but Logic Pro 7 has a good guitar amp simulator built in it. It does cost a lot, but in one fell swoop you've covered amp/cab sims, several excellent soft synths, IR and "traditional" reverbs, a healthy supplu of plug-ins, sequencing and multitracking. When you factor in all that other stuff the $1000 price tag doesn't seem so bad. Unless, of course, you've met all these other needs already.
