When I saw Shakti (maybe 4years ago now????) I have to confess I was disappointed by McLauglin's "chorus + FX fuzz" sound with no amp. It was limp. He sounded so 1980's. Logistically, I know it must be far simplier to travel and to control on stage, but it sure didn't sound cutting edge to me. To my ears he would have sounded so much more compelling with a straight guitar sound from a small Marshall 50-watt amp. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kris Hartung" <khartung@cableone.net> To: <Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com> Sent: Monday, March 07, 2005 1:41 PM Subject: RE: All-Laptop live??
