Besides all the damn magazines, manuals and websites that make up 95% of my reading, I'm enjoying the hell out of "Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell," a very clever, confounding, slow-moving, well-written and non-adolescent blurring of some favorite genres that I'd long-ago either exhausted or abandoned: Jane Austin novels, realms-of-Faery fantasies, alternate histories, dark folk tales...etc. (listening to the audio version, btw...my favorite way to read, but my page-rate has been seriously reduced by no longer having a commute. Just can't get back into long, full-body reading sessions...weird; they used to be my main pleasure) dc
