looping on the Digitech RP20

For anyone who is interested, I have figured out a way to do looping on the Digitech RP20.  Two schemes: one loop with the full 10 seconds, or two loops which can build a four-part harmony loop.

RP-20 Looping Configuration

This is a ten-second loop (max).  To record a loop, first activate the arm switch, then hit the record switch to begin recording and again to stop recording and start playing the loop.
ARM        = F9
RECORD = F0

Setup for looping on RP-20
T
he idea is to assign parameters on the long-delay effect to one of two foot switches in such a way as to let the audio into the delay when record is pressed, then cut the input but allow output when it is pressed again.

Assign parameters to ARM or RECORD switch with following levels [low,high]:
ARM switch:
    FxLvl  = [ OFF, ON ]
    FdBck = [ 99, 0 ]
    Out     = [ 75, 0 ]
    TapIt   = assigned
RECORD switch:
    Delay  = [ OFF, ON ]
    Time   = [ 0, 0 ]
---------------------------
---------------------------
Two long delays (5s) in series which can built a four-part loop.

Using:
Foot switches:
ARM-1        = F7
RECORD-1 = F8
ARM-2        = F9
RECORD-2 = F0

Record first into loop-1, then into loop-2 (loop-1 will be included). Stop loop-1 and record a new loop to play along with loop-2. Finally, play along with both loops (four-part).
