I did adjust it on day one there is only so, much you can adjust on any card that exists. The intended usage effects how latency will impact you I haven't had any issue but, I could very well have just gotten used to compensating. It can't be too much compensating otherwise I might have been bothereed by it. Motu 828 I know little of I went PCI to obtain as little latency as I could manage I haven't got that much faith in any external devices. -----Original Message----- From: Jesse Lucas [mailto:jlucas@neoprimitive.net] Sent: Friday, March 25, 2005 11:00 AM To: Loopers-Delight@loopers-delight.com Subject: Re: Mobius Beta 7 Available Alan Kroeger wrote: > I have no latency problems haven't needed to adjust latency since day > one of the original installation you just need a decent card not one > you buy off the Comp USA shelf. If you've never touched it, then you should definitely check it out. It could probably be lowered. Latency is a perceptual problem. If you can't perceive it, then it's not a problem. It bothers some people though. What is CompUSA? Do they sell MOTU 828s? -J
